In a bizarre crossover event that breaks usual predictions, the game developer has announced an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including free extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Disclosed

According to the formal release, "An unusual meeting draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where hints of forbidden practices and fearsome changes resonate through the shadows." The storyline features a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a hidden cult.

The mission centers on "peculiar tests and a monstrous foe" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

The preview showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations.
